What\u2019s changing<\/h3>\n

We\u2019re pleased to announce that the use of comments and action items are now available in client-side encrypted Google Sheets and Slides. This includes the ability to add, edit, reply, filter, or delete comments, as well as assign action items to yourself or others. This is already available for client-side encrypted Google Docs. Expanding this functionality to Sheets and Slides makes it easier to collaborate across encrypted documents.<\/p>\n

Note that when sharing encrypted files, you can only assign \u201cviewer\u201d or \u201ceditor\u201d permissions. \u201cCommenter\u201d permission is not supported. Viewers can view comments. Comments are saved each time the document is autosaved. If you restore the document to a previous version, the comments added to the document in that version are also restored.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
