What\u2019s changing<\/h3>\n
Since the beginning of this year<\/a>, educators have been able to easily import students from their student information system (SIS) to Google Classroom using OneRoster<\/a>. Today, we\u2019re introducing the option for teachers to import their grade categories and co-teachers<\/a> from their linked SIS.\u00a0<\/div>\n

Once an admin establishes a connection between their district SIS and Google Classroom, teachers can manually link new or existing Google Classroom classes to their SIS, then use the connection to export grades<\/a>, import students rosters<\/a>, and now, import grading categories or co-teachers.\u00a0<\/div>\n

Getting started\u00a0<\/h3>\n
Admins: This feature is available for domains connected to a SIS partner\u2013Aspen, Infinite Campus, Skyward SMS and Skyward Qmlativ. To enable the feature, go to http:\/\/classroom.google.com\/admin<\/a>. Visit the Help Center to learn more about connecting your Classroom to your SIS.\u00a0<\/a>End users: If a SIS is connected by your admin, you can import grading categories by going to classroom.google.com<\/a> > Class > Settings > Grading Categories > Import from SIS.\u00a0Visit the Help Center to learn more about using Classroom with your SIS<\/a> and importing data from your Student Information System (SIS).<\/a><\/p>\n
