We\u2019ve already <a href=\"https:\/\/workspaceupdates.googleblog.com\/2022\/06\/dlp-file-uploads-to-external-forms.html\">enabled data loss prevention (DLP) for Google Drive policies that apply to files submitted in external Forms<\/a>, including Forms from external organizations. To expand on this, today we\u2019re announcing that DLP policies for form content in Google Forms is now generally available.\u00a0<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>With DLP, Forms with sensitive content can be blocked from being viewed or responded to by external individuals. DLP rules are configured to detect and prevent sharing of Forms with responders outside the organization with any mentions of \u201cProject X\u201d, the sensitive content in this form.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<h3>Additional details\u00a0<\/h3>\n<div>If you do not want DLP rules applied to users in your domain, you can exclude certain groups or organizational units from DLP checks. You can also exclude DLP rules for forms by u<a href=\"https:\/\/support.google.com\/a\/answer\/9657280?sjid=10577254073247192693-NA#zippy=%2Cexample-dlp-rule-condition-with-and-and-or-operators\">sing nested condition operators in DLP<\/a> for Drive rules. To do so, add a \u2018AND NOT\u2019 conditional operator with a custom detector for \u201cvnd.google-apps.form\u201d as a regex. In scenarios where you only want to apply DLP for forms, add a custom detector for \u201cvnd.google-apps.form\u201d as a regex. You can apply block, warn or audit actions, consistent with DLP for Drive.
