Choose between \u201cComfortable\u201d or \u201cCompact\u201d on <a href=\"http:\/\/chat.google.com\/\">chat.google.com<\/a>.\u00a0<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Comfortable mode, the default setting, reflects Chat\u2019s modernized design, in line with <a href=\"https:\/\/m3.material.io\/\">Google Material Design 3<\/a>,  and clearly differentiates <a href=\"https:\/\/workspaceupdates.googleblog.com\/2023\/09\/differentiate-messages-better-google-chat.html\">message bubbles.<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Compact mode is for users who prefer to see more information at a time with less scrolling.
