Beginning today, we\u2019re expanding this interoperability to include support for Cisco Webex and Zoom on Logitech Android-based hardware devices for Google Meet. These include\u00a0 Logitech Rally Bar, Rally Bar Mini, and Rally Bar Huddle appliances. These Google Meet hardware devices now have the embedded capability to call directly into Cisco Webex and Zoom calls, which allows\u00a0 users to collaborate with more customers and partners outside their companies.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>This feature is already supported on ChromeOS-based Google Meet hardware devices from Logitech.\u00a0<\/p>\n<h3>Getting started<\/h3>\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Admins:\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n<ul>\n<li>Both Zoom and Webex interop on Android-based Google Meet hardware will be available on devices by default and can be disabled in the Workspace Admin console at the OU level at <i><a href=\"https:\/\/support.google.com\/a\/answer\/11384288\">Devices &gt; Google Meet hardware &gt; Settings &gt; Device Settings &gt; Built-in interoperability<\/a><\/i>.<\/li>\n<li>There is no additional cost associated with using this new built-in interoperability feature on supported devices.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><b>End users:\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n<ul>\n<li>When enabled by your admin, you can join a Webex or Zoom meeting from a Logitech Android-based Google Meet hardware device:\u00a0<\/li>\n<ul>\n<li>Join an ad-hoc call by tapping &#8220;Find a meeting&#8221; on your touch controller and selecting Webex or Zoom from the dropdown options.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Join a scheduled call by adding a room to an event with Webex or Zoom meeting details.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Note:<\/b> Calendar events that originate outside of Google Calendar must be duplicated and populated with room details manually.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<li>Visit the Help Center to learn more about <a href=\"https:\/\/support.google.com\/a\/answer\/9039847\">Google Meet interoperability<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Rollout pace<\/h3>\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/support.google.com\/a\/answer\/172177\">Rapid Release and Scheduled Release domains<\/a>: Gradual rollout (up to 15 days for feature visibility) starting on February 13, 2025\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3>Availability<\/h3>\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Available to all Google Workspace customers with Google Meet hardware devices<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Resources<\/h3>\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/support.google.com\/a\/answer\/13151563\">Google Workspace Admin Help: Use Meet hardware to join a Zoom meeting<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/support.google.com\/a\/answer\/11384288\">Google Workspace Admin Help: Allow Meet hardware to join 3rd party video conferencing services<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/support.google.com\/a\/answer\/9039847\">Google Workspace Admin Help: Meet interoperability FAQs<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What\u2019s changing We\u2019ve been working to expand our customers\u2019 calling networks through interoperability between Google Meet hardware devices, and other third-party video conferencing apps and devices.
